To create a children’s museum in the heart of London for children and their families where together they may play, discover, create, make and learn in an open and informal environment where childhood is celebrated and enriched.
In the UK and London, we are seeing parents and carers spending less time with children and less time together as a family outside the home. Research is showing the many positive impacts on children’s wellbeing that having the freedom to explore – and sharing family time enjoying creative and cultural experiences bring about. The Museum will be for all children, their families and carers.
A children’s museum can maximise child creativity and quality family time. More than 30 million people already visit over 400 children’s museums around the world every year. There isn't a Children's Museum for London and we plan to put that right!
This site is for the Children’s Museum in London – The Museum is in its planning stage and not yet open. We are now actively campaigning to raise funds to ensure this exciting and permanent legacy for children is realised.
